Dr. Carol Prince is a board certified dermatologist and fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology with over 30 years in experience practicing dermatology in Michigan and Wisconsin. Dr. Prince specializes in surgical, cosmetic and general dermatology. She treats skin conditions, rashes, acne, hair loss, moles and skin cancers in men, women and children of all ages. In treating her patients she emphasizes the importance of prevention through proper skin care, healthy eating, physical activity and stress management. She encourages her patients to undergo annual skin exams by a medical professional and to conduct self-examinations at least once monthly in order to detect any new growths and changes in existing skin conditions.
Dr. Prince received her medical degree (M.D.) from Michigan State University and completed her residency in dermatology at Wayne State University. Additionally, prior to completing her residency in dermatology, Dr. Prince completed a residency in emergency medicine at Henry Ford Hospital and worked in occupational medicine. Prior to attending medical school, Dr. Prince received a bachelor’s degree in Nursing (B.S.N.) from Wayne State University and a master’s degree in Public Health (M.P.H.) from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor.
