Warts

Verrucae vulgaris (warts) can occur anywhere on the body and are caused by the Human Papilloma Virus (HPV). They are contagious and should be treated. They tend to be raised and rough, but can be flat and smooth (flat warts). They can also be found on the genital areas. There are many treatment options available depending on the size, number, and location of the warts. These include topical medications, liquid nitrogen, and surgery.
